All Levels Fall Yoga Flow with Jessica Strunk
All Levels Fall Yoga Flow with Jessica Strunk

Jess Strunk's Yoga path began when she was 16 and living with chronic anxiety, depression and PTSD. She experienced profound mental and emotional peace and relief after her first class and was hooked from then on. After graduating from the University of TN Knoxville in 2012 with degrees in anthropology and Spanish, she worked and travelled the world as a yacht stewardess. As Yoga philosophy, mindful movement, breathwork and meditation were key grounding forces in this hectic and often unpredictable lifestyle, she felt inspired to go deeper in her study and to share these practices with others. Years later, she is now a 1000 hour Yoga teacher and a Kripalu Integrative Yoga Therapist in training. Jess's practice is trauma informed and therapeutic for the mind, body and soul. She aims to honor Yoga's Indian roots in her teaching and emphasizes everyone's birthrights of self expression & sovereignty and their innate ability to self-heal. All Levels Fall Yoga Flow Jess's classes are inspired by nature's wisdom and draw from the ancient Indian lifestyle system of Ayurveda to help you feel more balanced and easeful throughout the cycles of the year. This beginner friendly 6 week series aligns with the fall season, or vata season, offering slow, rhythmic and fluid practices to balance out the cold, dry, windy aspects of this time of year. Each 1 hour class will incorporate the breath, stretchy flows to ease achy and tight muscles, grounding postures, and a bit of heat to keep the inner fire going strong as we are naturally pulled to slow down.
